CL&GLOBAL GUIDE
Read this before you join CL&GLOBAL
CL&GLOBAL connects Korean technology companies with local experts and dealers, from choosing a market to HQ-managed delivery. This guide explains the roles, the review process and what stays private before you sign up.
What the system is
Three sites work as one connected system, and clnglobal.org is the global matching layer.
HQ site · clnkorea.com
Company information and the Korean technology-supplier network.
Local network · clnkorealocal.com
Country branches and local demand-supply companies.
Global matching · clnglobal.org
Country selection → experts → project registration → AI matching → HQ PM management.
Who takes part and what they do
| Role | What they do | Joining |
|---|---|---|
| Korean supplier | Registers a market-entry project and works with experts and dealers. | Sign up and register a project — no review needed. |
| Local expert | Delivers the project using local market, regulation and sales knowledge. | Four-step application → HQ review → final approval. |
| Global dealer | Finds local demand and connects decision makers. | Application → HQ review → demand posting rights after approval. |
| HQ PM & admin | Validation, matching, status, contract and settlement management, final approval. | Internal operator roles. |
Expert vs dealer compared
Both roles work on the ground overseas and both need HQ approval, but the direction of the work and how you earn are different. Use the table below to decide which fits you before signing up.
| Item | Local expert | Global dealer |
|---|---|---|
| Direction of work | A Korean company registers a project and you deliver it locally (supply → overseas). | You find demand locally first and bring it to HQ (overseas → supply). |
| Main activities | Consulting and meetings, market-entry review, pre-check task review, local sales/customs/regulation support. | Finding buyers and tenders, connecting decision makers, supporting proposals and negotiations, local coordination and after-care. |
| How you apply | A four-step form — account & contact → experience & expertise → fee & verification → review & submit. Each step is saved as a draft. | One application — individual or corporate, country and city, industries, local business years, network, track record, purpose, and LinkedIn or a company website. |
| How you are approved | HQ document review → video interview and career check → scoring out of 100 (60+ required) → final approval by the HQ administrator. A rejection gives a reason and you can resubmit. | HQ document review → more-info request if needed → approval opens demand posting. Rejected or suspended dealers cannot post. |
| Scoring & grade | Scored out of 100 — 60 Registered, 75 Verified, 85 Certified. HQ only sees the score. | Each demand is scored out of 100 on six items — A 80+, B 60–79, C 40–59, D under 40. |
| Visibility | Once approved, companies can search and compare you. Phone, email and fees stay private. | Not public — your profile and the buyer details you post are visible only to HQ and the handler. |
| How you earn | Advisory fees — you report at least one of hourly, daily or monthly fee to HQ only and say whether a success fee is possible. Never quote directly to a company. | Success incentive — contract amount × applied rate, using the default or your personal rate, and only once the success criteria (demand status, minimum score, minimum contract amount, payment receipt) are met. |
| Settlement | HQ project managers set out scope, contract structure and payment schedule after checking local rules. | Settlements move pending → confirmed → paid, with the rate locked at confirmation, and dealers can download a settlement statement PDF. |
| Holding both roles | You can add a dealer application with the same account, and your existing entries are prefilled. | You can add an expert application with the same account, and your existing entries are prefilled. |
Choose expert if
You have sector or country expertise to deliver briefs, meetings and reviews when companies ask — apply as an expert.
Choose dealer if
You already know local buyers and can bring real purchasing or tender opportunities to HQ, paid by incentive — apply as a dealer.
Rules that apply to every member
- Nothing is listed, matched or posted without HQ approval.
- Expert phone, email and fees, and dealer-submitted buyer details are never shown to companies.
- Non-circumvention: no company, expert or dealer may trade outside CL&GLOBAL.
- AI recommendations and pre-checks are advisory — real decisions come from HQ review.
- Information must be true — misstatement can revoke approval.
Common questions
Is there a joining fee?
Signing up and applying are free. Costs arise only when work is contracted.
Can I be an expert and a dealer?
You can submit both applications with the same account.
How long does review take?
Review runs document check → interview → career confirmation, and you get a request if anything is missing.
Can I reapply after rejection?
Experts see the rejection reason, update the profile and resubmit; dealers resubmit from the 'more info needed' state.
How much of my information is visible?
The public/private table in each guide shows the exact split — contacts and fees are HQ-only.
Where do I apply?
Use the Become an Expert, Global Dealers and Register Project menu items.
