EXPERT MEMBERSHIP GUIDE
How to join the CL&GLOBAL expert network
Joining takes a four-step application and an HQ review. Reading this guide first tells you what to enter, what HQ checks, and what happens after approval.
Who can join
Anyone who can help Korean companies enter or grow in an overseas market from the local ground.
- Local sales, technical, purchasing or project staff working at an overseas company or institution
- Korean and Korean-descent business people living abroad
- Consultants, lawyers, accountants and interpreters with a local network
- People with experience distributing or representing Korean manufacturing and technology companies
What to prepare
- An email-and-password or Google account (email verification after sign-up)
- Current position and company, total years of experience and international business years
- A professional bio of 50+ characters and results-focused achievements
- Primary market, secondary markets, industries and the services you can actually deliver
- At least one of hourly, daily or monthly fee (kept private)
- References for the career check: name, relation, contact (HQ only)
- An optional YouTube self-introduction video for the verification interview
The four application steps
Each step is saved as a draft, so you can stop and continue later.
STEP 1 · Account & contact
Enter your name, public display name, country of residence, city, nationality, mobile/WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn and languages. Phone, email and LinkedIn are private and visible only to HQ.
STEP 2 · Experience & expertise
Choose expert type, primary and secondary markets, industries and services, then fill in current position and company, years of experience, a 50+ character bio, education, certifications, achievements, local network, network strength, availability, working type, project duration and travel availability.
STEP 3 · Fee & verification
Enter at least one of hourly, daily or monthly fee in USD and say whether a success fee is possible. Add a self-introduction video link, website or portfolio, and references for the career check. Fees are never shown to companies.
STEP 4 · Review & submit
Check your entries, then accept the expert terms, personal-data consent and the verification-interview plus non-circumvention pledge to submit. Your status becomes 'Profile Submitted' and HQ review begins.
How HQ reviews an application
- 1.Application submitted — your entries and consents are stored.
- 2.HQ document review — HQ checks how specific and consistent your experience, results and network are.
- 3.Video interview and career check — HQ contacts references and confirms you can actually deliver the work.
- 4.Scoring out of 100 — a score of 60 or higher is required before final approval.
- 5.Final approval by the HQ administrator — only approved experts become public and matchable.

What you do after approval
- Your public profile appears on country pages and in expert search.
- You become eligible to be recommended by AI matching on company projects.
- You receive company consultation and meeting requests, reply to them and propose schedules.
- The expert dashboard shows your status, incoming requests and progress.
- HQ project managers manage matching, contracts and delivery together with you.
Rules you must keep
- Non-circumvention: do not approach companies directly — communicate only through CL&GLOBAL.
- Experience, results and network claims must be true; proven misstatement can revoke approval.
- Company requests and materials are confidential and must not be disclosed.
- Fees are quoted only through HQ — never quote directly to a company.
Tips that help the review
- Write achievements with numbers — which company, what value, how much growth — so verification is faster.
- Pick only the 1–2 markets you are genuinely strong in — it improves matching accuracy.
- Select only the services you have actually delivered under contract.
- List references who can actually answer the phone — it speeds up the interview stage.
